Yellow film on egg

Good morning all . I will start off by saying that we had a predator attack one of our chickens last night and killed her . This morning I went out to check on my girls again and collected the eggs . Well on two of the eggs is this yellow film. My girls are acting normal considering last night . But I am worried . Can anyone point me in the right direction.

The "yellow film" is egg yolk. Is there a crack in the egg? If not, she probably had an egg finished and ready to lay and another in the process that just got in the way.

There is not a crack in the egg and there were two in there with the film on them.

yup! just a messup. one good egg and one that was not ready!

Chances are there was a broken egg in the nest, most of which was eaten.
