I am looking for yellow racing homers. I have one 4 year old male I would like a hen for and maybe another pair or two. The male I have is a trenton.

I've never seen yellow racing homers, can you post any pics? Around here all they have are blue and ash red birds. I have show homers, and plenty of yellow ones, but they're not the same thing...

I have never seen them either, apart form show birds.. which are quite different in shape to real racing homers.

OP, be careful when you buy any... make sure they are from a racing bloodline... not just the colour you want, unless you are not interested in racing them for the sport.

I was sold Saddle Back Homers from someone for a big price. They looked beautiful on the photos, and the guy told me they are from a good racing bloodline. But, when I got them, although they still looked very beautiful, they were no way racing homers!! They were white homers X with Old German Owl, to get the colour. So they were useless to race or even 'home' them from the loft.

I did keep them.. because they looked good flying around my garden.

So be very careful buying new birds if you want real racers.

You could get white homers and cross breed them to your yellow homer... eventually you should get some more yellow ones down the generation... and they do breed fast!

Good luck in your search.. you have a lovely looking bird there!

Maybe even breed him to a silver female (do they have those in racing bloodlines?)... and then the offspring back to him, that *could* work but it's a long proces...
