yellow throat spurfowl francolins

hi there

i hope someone can help. I bought a female spurfowl for my lonely male but the problem is the male is verry agresive to her by bitting and kicking her i seperate the to now is there any way they can come to together in a peacefull way, please help

Did you add the hen to the pen the male has been in?He thinks it's his pen and will defend it,even if it's a hen for him.Put the hen in another pen and then add your male to that pen.

thanks for your reply tony it is nice to have friends around the globe, yes i put the hen in the same pen as the cock. thanks for your advice i will do like you say first think in the morning (currently night time in south africa lol)
