Yes, yes, yes! I finally got that elusive blue egg.

One of my two EE's FINALLY got with the program and laid her first egg yesterday. It was blue!!! I'm so eggcited... I've been anxiously waiting to see what color they would give me and hoping for a green or blue.

They were both hatched on May 7, 2008 so they are just over 7 1/2 months old. It's about time.

I'm so proud of her.

I wish I could post pictures but we're having computer issues right now with our only computer that can have pictures put on it.

You know what is really sad... I was gone yesterday so my son got to put the chickens away for the night and collect the last eggs... he found it! I was actually jealous!! How awful am I?

However... I got to eat it for breakfast this morning!
