Yesss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Brinsea came with a regular analog thermometer (long slim glass) which is easy to read and very accurate. The incubator temp. is adjustable--usually it needs very little adjustment.

If you're like most folks, you don't want to completely forget about your eggs in the incubator!! Basically, I check temp. and humidity several times a day and usually everything is perfect. You may need to add water every other day or so.

I have the brinsea octagon 20 advanced
it has the digital read outs but is the same otherwise.
AWESOME incubator.
You will have to refill the water troughs every couple of days
on lockdown I fill those and put strips of washcloth dipped into the trough to increase the evaporation area to raise the humidity.
might not be a problem where you live since it's pretty high humidity there.
Anyway, I keep it filled and then I use a straw to drop drips of water in through the air hole during lockdown (if there is no egg there). When I have opened it to take out a chick I toss in a wet washcloth strip or two. Humidity comes right back up (never open the bator if you have any eggs pipped, well, never open the bator is good advice).
There is a little hole with two tiny drips on the black top where you can drop in tinydrips of water onto the upper plastic shelf during lockdown. (not while it's turning of course)
I have found it easy to keep the humidity right in and it's is rock solid on temp.
My only complaint is I like to hatch in egg cartons since I"m hatching shipped eggs. It is a little 'low ceiling' but the chicks always do fine.

enjoy, it is a wonderful little machine
bottom parts can clean up in the dishwasher
have fun!

Ohh yeah I have another question. If I put the max amount of eggs in that bator, when they hatch wouldn't they be very crowded? I would think they would have a greater change of getting spraddle leg!

It is a bit crowded for 24 regular sized chicks, but it still works. But just think about the space under a hen that's on a nest of eggs when they start hatching. I have not experienced any leg problems with chicks hatched in the Brinsea.

How much did yall pay for y'all Eco? I spent 150 bucks for the Eco with the turner on the actual brinsea website!! It was on sale with the rotated. I totally lucked out!!
