Yet another chicken escape story!

So, I was in the bathroom. When I came out, my boyfriend told me the chickens had gotten out and asked me to go round them up (he hates rounding them up). I could only find 3 of them! Anna and Elsa (yes, named after Disney Princesses) were still missing. I started panicking and ran to the house. I got my boyfriend, and we started searching. Then, here comes our neighbor. He said he had found 2 golden chickens wandering around his garden and asked us to come see if they were ours. Sure enough, he had Anna and Elsa in his puppy's playpen on his patio! We thanked him, each took a chicken, and went back to the coop. As I type my boyfriend is now on the phone with a fence company! Only 3 sides of our 2 acres are fenced!

My chickens can be escape artists, but they really prefer not too. Most of the time....Once my hen Grace got out every day, laid an egg outside the electric fence, and somehow got back in without me noticing. She assembled a clutch of twelve eggs. They were found when the fence was moved, but to this day it baffles me how she got out and back in successfully for twelve days.
