Is this designed so that chicken poop lands through the wire? I haven't seen one like that, but then I am new to coops. I like that type of clean idea.

Yes, the poop ends up on the ground rather than in the coop. It's easy to clean because the whole wall can be removed and the droppings raked up and dumped into our compost bins. If you click on the pictures, you get a much bigger image and an explanation.
