Well I don't have my birds anymore, ended up having to sell them but I did a little math and...

In the past 2 years I've spent 600$ on Coturnix Quail!!! I don't regret ever owning them as it was a great experience and I'll prolly do it again in my life time but I sure do regret all the money put into them!!

Yeahhh...I try not too look at the expenses....but you can easily make the birds worth their weight in feed if you manage correctly. And don't sell for cheap prices. That is why I'm working on rarer colored Coturnix and BIG birds. People pay for quality. As I feel everyone should. No matter what breed/species. The breeders who breed quality 99% of the time are putting more into their birds then just everyday poultry keepers. That is just my opinion though.

I've spent a total of $20 on coturnix and love em but I got like 50 of em but most I got through trades. I got some rare colors for Canada and the rare ones are FINALLY laying they're only 20 weeks old :roll awful lazy compared to there jumbo brown cousins. Sam have you ever crossed a rare color into a brown? Cuz I got 3 gold cocks that are rare up here and only one hen. I 'd liketo get em bigger and the jumbo browns are quite populous here.

Yea, I don't know if I should sell my supplies and make some money back or not.. but I don't want to do what you did and end up buying more stuff again lol.
