I am so happy! My cayuga hen went broody.
Should she be locked up away from the drake and the other ducks? She is tonight, she went broody today. I didn't actually lock her up until tonight.
I am assuming I need to give her food and water, she will keep eating and drinking right? She does have these right now. Is there anything else she needs?
I have a set up right now with a dog kennel and in there I have three dog crates. The ducks are locked up at night in the crates, they are large. Three pekins in one, tonight I put the cayuga drake and hen in one and the broody hen is in another. Actually I left Ms Broody in the crate she was in.
I am assuming I should not move the nest correct? She is in the largest crate right now. I would like to put her in one of the smaller ones.
Anything I else need to know?
