My Grandma was from Oldham and talked of going to Yorkshire. Of course when I hear Yorkshire I think of Yorkshire pudding. YUM

Hello there! I'm in Oxfordshire, born in London but I used to live part of the year in Swaledale, Yorkshire. I loved it, especially in the winter when it wasn't full of tourists. Where I lived was way up on a hill where you could look down along the Swale towards the Lake District. Aaahhh! I still miss it so much, both the view and the people who are so kind & helpful. This is a great site so WELCOME to BYC--I hope you enjoy it!
