Well at the beginning of April I got my 3 lovely warren hens, just plain little brown but very friendly hens after never having chickens before. Last week I decided I wanted some more hens even though I only have a small garden, unfortunately in the UK unless you are a farmer you don't tend to have much land of your own, so before you know it I've got myself a rented allotment and am currently in the process of clearing & planning whilst my husband is sourcing materials. I knew other people on here said raising chickens was addictive, I just can't believe I've caught the extending my flock addiction so quick
. I'm even going to get myself a rooster
. What on earth am I letting myself in for
. Just thought i'd share my craziness with you all, it's not in walking distance (well just over 40 mins) so I will get myself a bike and get fit at the same time
