So, all day I've been trying to figure out why my incubator temp is up
(at 101-102) when it's been staying dead on at 99.5-100 since I fired it up....all day I've been opening it briefly, afraid to touch the dial prematurely because it's been soooo consistent. Then i remembered someone posting that temps may rise on day 10 since the eggs start generating their own heat...and wouldn't you know i'm on exactly day 10.
So, I found the nerve to turn the dial down a tad and I'm back on track.
Thank you to whoever that was (it was part of an old post I read when I was researching before my first hatch.
