I see the latest thread on this topic only got to post #2 before peeing in the yard was brought up.

For me, it was the annual fall ritual in our neighborhood that consisted of our next door neighbors lighting a fire in their woodstove and settling in to watch the Packers on the first cold weekend of the fall. Every year they'd have a chimney fire, and the volunteer fire department would show up ... and then they'd all stick around to watch the second half.
