Yougurt portion size

What is a good amount of yogurt to give as a treat per chicken? I gave them yogurt today, but it was clearly too much, as they all have loose stools now. Thanks!

Crawfordmama I give my chickens about 1 cup of yogurt for 6 hens per day. If they get loose stools reduce amount of yogurt until they are used to eating it. It is healthful for them; they love it and the eggs taste wonderful!

It seems to depend on what's on the menu for the girls. After I mix it thoroughly, I'll put one or two healthy dollops using a teaspoon and put it on a plate. I usually put some BOSS on top or sliced cucumbers to get their attention. It's not a lot, and that's for 3 girls. I might use a little more when I choose to freeze it in a plastic cup though.
