You might try putting in some more roosts throughout their run. Sort of make them a chicken jungle gym. My barred Rocks are my most active and inquisitive chickens. They are constantly getting into things. They always want to know what's going on. They are very athletic (jumping 5 feet easily), and my best foragers. If you decide you don't want her, I'm only a few hours down the river from you.
