Young Cochin Bantam laying issue

]My 6 month old Cochin Bantam, Squirt, stoped laying an egg 3 days ago, but she has spent most of her time in the nest box, either trying, or thinking she should be trying!!! I have got her out periodically, and she drinks water, forages, and hangs out with the others, seeming quite happy and healthy when she is out....I have checked for an egg, dont feel one, given her some olive oil, now thinking of a warm bath.....she just doesnt seem egg bound.......she is very sweet, and Mr Cheeky would be lost without her!!!! Any advice?

Ok, so a hen can be broody with NO eggs to lay on???? She hasnt laid an egg for 4 days now, usually giving me one every other day.....she lays in the nest, unless i pick her up and put her out, she drinks, eats, defecates, acts fine.........then I catch her nesting again.......
