We have a few young (10 week old) cockerels for sale. They're Lavender Orpingtons, are very gentle, and love interactions and cuddles. Great chickens for those with children. We ended up with more than what we needed in our hatch and are now trying to find some of them forever homes. If you have a flock and are looking to add some good genetic diversity to your flock then you won't go wrong with these lil' guys. We're asking $5 per bird to offset a little of the cost of feed, but free is fine so long as they go to good homes. The important thing is they find new homes and flocks to call their own.

Lavender Orpingtons are a beautiful gray bird with their feathers giving off various shades of purple in the light. An appropriate display of their namesake. Very beautiful breed. We love them, and we're sure you'll love them too.

We are local to Madison Alabama.

Welcome to BYC!
Roosters can be found free for the taking all over the place. If they aren't breeding stock, I wouldn't expect to get more than $5 ea for them. If that. But good luck finding them homes.

This is our first time rehoming roos. I picked the price at random that seemed reasonable based on zero knowledge of the going price. Honestly them finding a forever home is the most important thing to us. $5 dollars is fine, free is fine too if it means they go to good homes.

This is what I do. I post them for a fee of $5 to weed out the freezer fillers. Once I find their forever home, I waive the fee.
I strongly suggest you join a few local and regional FB Poultry groups and advertise them on each site and on your local Craigslist. You will not find someone interested in them on a word wide website!
I also suggest you pose them in front of the prettiest background you can and get right down on the ground for the picture. The better they look, the more likely someone will want them as a flock rooster/cockerel.
This guy was taken about 4 weeks after I started his ads.

The first guy wanted to put him in a freezer and I told him he was too nice for that. The lady that took him told me she fell in love with him as soon as she saw his picture.
