Young drake losing his voice?

So recently I noticed that my 3.5 month old muscovy (which I assume to be a drake) has been losing his voice. It turned into what is now just audible hisses. Is this just a "puberty" thing as he's turning into a mature drake or should I be worried? Other than that he's still very energetic and his appetite seems well.
