Our 8 mo old WL pullet is almost bald on the back of her neck due to some pretty overzealous mating. Will a hen apron/saddle cover this, or is there something else that will reach further up her neck, so we can help her grow some feathers back?

If you're sure it's from mating and not molting, I don't know what would work besides separating the roo or adding hens. Possibly pine tar on her neck, which is a mess.

Regular aprons don't cover the neck, they are for the lower back where the roo treads or stands. I make mine, and could cut it so a piecewsent up the back of the neck, but suspect it wouldn't stop the roo.
