Are the other chickens beating up the ones who you are both having issues with?
I had a hen doing this, her issues was that she was being beaten up by the other hens and overbred by her rooster. We removed the roo and in a day or 2 she was coming back to normal. She was trying to looks sick so they'd leave her alone.
