This was too cute for me not to share. I am in the process of starting to fly two of my YBs a few months old, and they were messing around in a tree and a young mourning dove joined them on a branch! This dove approached my two pigeons and started pecking at them in what appeared to be a friendly social manner. Then my two pigeons would fly to another branch or telephone wire, and the dove would follow them! The dove followed them for a while, my pigeons didn't seem particularly interested in the little dove, but all that little dove wanted to do was be around my two pigeons. Got one pic, you can see my two pigeons to the left, and the young mourning dove on the right.
