We have a 6 month old bantam hen who was breathing with her mouth open and shaking her head. We gave her Killverm as we read up about gapeworm. Then last week we took her to the vet and he said it didn't look like gapeworm, it was her throat, it was very red and inflamed. so he gave antibiotics and antiinflammatory tablets. We have been giving her the medication, but noticed her getting mucusy & dribbling mucus when trying to drink water. Its now to the end of the antibiotics & she is not eating like before & seems dull. My brother just pointed out that she is missing her tongue. What should we do?
