Young Quail Wings

Hello all - my wife and I are new to Quail raising. We have 17 3-week old Bobwhites and have received some advice but have a question for the group. They have discovered a newfound talent of flying (about four feet so far). Is 3 Weeks too soon to start clipping wingsIf so, when should we begin

Post in the Quail forum on BYC. Just scroll down on the main forum page-you will see it.

When you post there, put “bobwhite” in title bc then you will get answers from those with knowledge on that type. I have Cot quail, and I would not answer your question as my limited knowledge indicates Bobwhite are different enough from Cots to need an answer from someone familiar.
