young roo pecked on egg? Will he stop?

I went out this morning to collect eggs...My older hen had laid and I just put a young roo in with her yesterday. He was very interested in the egg and pecked it twice.

Should I be worried he is an egg eater or is he just interested in the egg because he has never seen one before???

ok thanks! I had one egg eating roo that I had to rehome. I'd hate for him to become one because he is very nice looking and I'd like to keep him...So I hope its just him being interested!!
