Hello. So the young rooster,, 'lil' Bird, he's about a year I think. Has suddenly developed an issue with his legs or wings our something, I'm not sure. But I'm leaning more regards house legs. It's been about three days now he just lays there he's trying to move to eat but he gets nowhere he just flops down on his chest.I think it's his legs but he also seems sick. I've included some videos of his legs and some photos of his face and his poop. Please tell me what I should do to help him. Oh, yes he eats and drinks willingly. Although I'm pretty sure he was not able to get around to eat for a couple days so when I found him laying there and baking in the sun, he was a little weak but has pulled through the lethargic state he was in. He's eating and drinking whatever is brought to him and in front of him within reach. Please help.

Hello sorry to hear lil bird is having issues. How is he doing today? In the video it looks as though he moves his leg a bit. He may be very lethargic and out of it, perhaps. Have you felt up and down his legs for anything swollen or out of place? Have you checked him very well for lice and mites? I’m going to tag the educators for some help. @Wyorp Rock @Eggcessive @azygous

Is this your only rooster or do you have others? Has he been pecked since he has a lot of black dots and scabs on his face, ears, and comb? Could he be weak from being kept from food and water? Is he bullied? I would work hard on getting him to drink some electrolytes and vitamins, and feed him some wet chicken feed, and offer some cooked egg, or bits of tuna. Once he is hydrated and eating, then see if he is able to walk. What are you feeding him?
