My flock turned 11 weeks old today, and it seems my light Brahma rooster is ready to be a man in his young age. This evening I noticed he has started biting at the hens necks. Is it too early for him to be demonstrating this behavior? I know this is common as they get closer to mating age, but I want to make sure this is not just aggressive behavior that needs addressed.

It's normal. I would separate him so he is still within sight of the flock to give the pullets time to mature.

Totally normal. Our rooster is 5 months old and has been mating with anything he can catch including our ducks even trying to force himself on our drake. Eventually our large goose can’t stand all his shenanigans and chases him around the coop and run for awhile. It’s hilarious.
