young rooster

I am new at this raising chickens thing. Well I did when was a young kid. My question is I have 2 roosters and 21 hens they are 11 weeks old. The 2 roosters seen to get a long real well. Is it to early for the rooster to try to do his job on the hens. I have aruacanas.

Yeah, they're a little young; but it (the practicing) should start very soon. You have enough roosters to hen. Whether they will continue to get along after they mature you'll have to wait and see.

My cuckoo maran guy just started crowing today...interesting that he started crowing right at the same time that he started mating the hens. He is 5 months old. I LOVE his crow....it is loud though. NOW I get to get the neighbors back for all their dogs barking!
