Yes, those quirky feathery friends of ours!! Share your quirky bird stories here! :) I'm sure we'd all love to hear them!!

I have a bird ( a purebred Delaware) named Grace at home, and she likes to sit IN the duck feed. She doesn't really eat it, just sits there. We also have black pans to water the ducks, and Grace is too tiny to reach over the top of the black pan to drink when she is Outside, so she jumps up and jumps IN the water and drinks that way. also, when she meets a new person, she does the dog Head Tilt, and walks up to them, peeping to be picked up. As soon as she's about face to face to you, she is silent. She's such a sweetie!

I could probably share more later. :) But, Let's here some of yours! :)

See my thread "yeehaw, I'm a chicken wrangler". Right below this thread. Hattie the pullet is a real character. ARRRGH!

OOPS. When I posted this reply it moved it away from my wrangler post.

Here's Grace! :) She's so sweet, I could just eat her up!

We Also had a Cornish Cross Broiler chicken at one time named Snowball, and she was the calmest chicken I'd ever seen, aside from Grace. I could pick her up and my dad would Poke her in the breast, and she wouldn't struggle or even make a sound. I almost sent her to Milwaukee with my brother! LOL!! Here's Her Pic:

Thanks! :) she likes to be picked up! My mom is worried about her because she's so tiny. :) She's the smallest out of all our Delawares.
