Newbie chicken mom here. Any guess on the breed or breeds of this girl is big, not heavy. Longer than my Barred Plymouth Rock. I can easily feel her breast bone. She has

some gray speckles around her neck. Her legs are white. She lays large eggs.

I don't know too much about her. She was found running loose about 3 weeks ago. Survived a week on her own in a parking lot. She was rescued and was living with a silkie but that did not go well for the silkie. I adopted her about 3 hours ago. She is friendly, tolerates being held with ease. Wants to visit my small flock but I keeping her quarantined for a couple of weeks.

She's a mixed breed. Delawares have yellow skin and legs. It could easily be a Delaware mix or a light Sussex mix. Great job rescuing her! Hope she fits into your flock well.
