Yum, Watermelon!!!

This is the first new thing I have put in their brooder that did not freak them out, they just chomped it down with tons of contented peeps and whistles.
I gave them a bowl of grit at the same time.

ya! my babiez are 1 wk at the youngest and they LOVE them :]

With chicks that young I would make sure that I removed the seeds, mine are 8 weeks so I don't bother, I just slice off a piece. They eat it down to the skin!

I gave my full grown girls the rines today and they ate them all the way down to the skin!

Oh yes!! My girls just LOVE their watermelon. Eat it all, right down to the skin!
