of course my first every silkie finished hathing while i was sleeping! i think i have about 5-6 more chicks to go they were collected over a period of 3 days before given to me. Would that make for different hatch dates?

Congratulations, they should all hatch around the same time if you set them in the bator on the same day.

so far i have one and one hatching i double checked the other eggs (yes i know i shouldnt touch anything!) and i can see breathing so i think they will all start poppin out soon!

Do not open your bator, you will shrinkwrap the eggs that have piped. Hard as it may be , sit on your hands lol.

i have recenlty taken up knitting keeping my hands pretty busy that and my toddler lol oh the chick is so cute!!!!

Oh boy can you post pics? We just set some silkies for our first hatch ever

I have three hatched in incubator and 7 eggs nothing happening but it is only day 1. My broodie Marans hatched out 1 last night not sure if the other two will hatch. The weather sucks here in Ohio. Cold rainy and windy. Not so good for hatching.
