Zebra Doves

They kind of look like lovebirds
they are hiding their beaks in the nest that is why they look like they have very short beaks.
So cute where do zebras come from
South East Asia and a similar one in Australia.
I live in Thailand and they are really common here - even in the city.
They are popular pets here too and they have dove singing competitions every year with big prize money for a good singing one.
There are farms that breed them for their song - which is now very different to the song of the wild ones.
My male is a good singer, the female was a bird I rescued after a neighbours cat caught it as a fledgling. (so she was wild). They have one egg (as its their first time) usually they will have 2.

I hope the chicks will get the good quality song form the father!

Not much bigger. They are half the size of the ring neck doves, but bigger than the diamonds.

My ones are much more clam and friendly than my diamond doves. The diamond doves seem to get frightened easily and also flutter about at night sometimes for no reason. The zebra doves will even let me stroke their backs like my ringnecks, but they won't fly onto my hand like the ring necks.

Good morning

Could you tell me if you have a zebra dove to sale or tell where could it to buy?
I have a male and if I find a hen will amazing.

Regards
Roberto
