zebra turkeys are doing fine,running,flying,jumping around and most of all sleeping

yes they are real turkeys,hope i got a male and female,cant wait until they are grown,only next year until the hen start laying eggs and hatch them,if they look like their parents i will call them zebra turkeys,new breed

What do the parents look like? Likely the color variety has already been named, so no need to dub them with a new name. I've seen poults that look like that before, like some of the ones I got from Porter's. They were Royal Palms with penciling on the feathers.

There is only one breed of turkey, but many varieties of that one breed, by the way. So even if it is a new color phase, it won't be a new breed, just a new variety.

the parents are sweetgrass turkey,these two came from them,must be a throw back in the gene,anyway,wrong choice of words"new breed" just a different color or colors,have to wait and see

My sweetgrass turkey poults look just like these two.
