Zoey, my chicken herding Aussie

We are currently raising our first flock. I introduced our Australian Shepherd, Zoey to the 5 week old orpingtons yesterday. Here is Zoey's story and a video of her chicken herding abilities:

Everyday she goes around the tractor checking on her flock...making sure they are all present and accounted for!

Beautiful and bright dog! Good herding dogs will never cease to amaze me. So cute when she had them all rounded up and kept on sniffing each one, as if she were counting them. "Okay, number one is here, two, three...all five babies are accounted for! Yay me!"
