Hi, My daughter was getting in her car to go to work when a guy asked her if she wanted some chickens. He said his neighbour wouldn’t let him keep them. I’ve ended up with them with my hybrids. I thought they were bantams at first because they were so young but now I’m wondering if they’re roosters. I think they might be leghorns? Could anyone give me their thoughts please? I’m not sure how to share a photo 🤔

What did you do for your chicks that were breathing heavy? I had a friend mention using VetRX. I brought home 3 babies that are 9 days old yesterday. (There was a 4th one but it was dead in my friends brooder. She said it looked fine yesterday morning.) One of these three is open beak breathing a little and she is having to work at breathing.

So I just gave one dose of rooster booster poultry cell just to see if that did anything. The chicks are doing great. I think that one was just hot or something. It wasn't coughing or sneezing just breathing quickly so 🤷‍♀️.

I was probably a little overly cautious at the time.
