i have an 8 day old baby chick, still looks like a 2 day old, I have being taking it from the moma to feed it but when i bring it back she takes it, any advise?

I sat down at the table yesterday for dinner (we were having tacos) with a half pint jar that I'd kept some of your taco sauce in and my brother cautiously looks over and I told him that it was your famous recipe then slid the jar across the table to him. Keep in mind my Brother does NOT like taco sauce but after trying a tiny bit he finished the whole thing and is now hounding me to make more
