Hey! I'm getting some kikiriki and Sebright chicks and pullets soon!! The Sebrights include silver, gold, and buff. Not sure what colors the Kikis are but I'm excited! I'm also getting hatching eggs! They will most likely be cochin, polish, Sebright, silkie, and kikirikis (all bantam). I'm also getting a cochin rooster soon so I can get some chicks from them! Lmk if you're interested!
I since my input, i determined my chickens have worms The feathers that look sheered are broken because worms weaken certain elements of chickens make-up One of the first is weak feathers. I am currently de-worming my flock. I have used Strike Three for a number of years and last year I quit inexplicably. Thus the problem.

If you have any questions about it, I'd post this in the Emergencies/Diseases...forum. There are several folks here who are experts on worm issues and the various drugs that can help. Mites/lice can also be culprits in this issue with feathers.
