Three out of four kids down with something today. Should be an easier day, right?

I have offended the toddler. I threw a standard hospital receiving blanket on the pee and tossed it in the washer. She is beside herself.

I offered another standard hospital receiving blanket. I have a stash of them.

She threw it down and reached, screaming for the first. The new one wasn't good enough.

Mind you, she discovered these today. It's not like she plays/uses them regularly.

I just want to say RIP Pancake, our Olive Egger. She passed Thursday night at a week and one day old. She was only with us for a few days, but she was part of me, leaving a fluffy chick-shaped hole in my heart. We will miss you, Pancake. More than you’ll ever know.
