Unfortunately, this egg is not mine but a friend of mine. She text me earlier today understandably excited that Pepper finally laid her first egg. I must admit I'm envious. It is a gorgeous egg! Congratulations Ashley!

She called her an Ameraucanas. I call them Olive Eggers.

My EE aren't laying right now either. One hasn't laid since July. I miss my pretty eggs lol.

Lol yeah i can understand that and thats what mine were labeled at the feed store was ameraucanus but they look like ee.

Thats a nice looking bird, I've only seen pictures where they have a lot of feathers around their heads which deterred me from the breed a little since I was worried about mess but now I'm having second thoughts.
