This year I bought 14 eggs from a lady I sold guineas to in the past. Out of those eggs I was able to hatch 8 keets! It's been a month and one of my babies is not growing while all the rest are getting so big. It is so precious to see how the bigger keets take the little one under their wing...

Hello! I have 5 adult guineas that I want to introduce 2 baby silkies to and would like to know the best way to do this. In the past when I introduced keets to the adults, I had the babies inside a dog kennel inside the coop so they could get used to each other for about a month. Would that work...

They are strange but fun birds! Hope they figure out what they are supposed to do with the egg besides eating it. I know when I hatch keets I always feed them scrambled egg - they go wild for that!

In the past I have tried the fake egg, my ladies were on to me in a flash! They have been creating a nest inside the coop so hopefully they will start laying again. My fingers are crossed!

Hi! I have 4 females that started laying eggs in February when it was still WAY too cold to do that. In March they stopped and I do not know why they haven't started laying again. One female is 4 years old, then 3, then 2 and less than 1 year old so age should not be a factor for the younger...

Is the chick still moving or chirping? If so, I would make sure the airway is not blocked. You can pull back a few pieces of the shell to verify the membrane has not adhered to its beak. Start with that, hope the little one is still alive - best of luck!

Update: my little one passed away this morning around 2am. It is a sad day in our house, I absolutely HATE losing a baby. You grow so attached to them in such a short amount of time. I held it for the last few hours so it knew it was loved.
