    Breeder/hatchery near San Antonio, TX

I would go right to Moore's Feed Store. 3721 S Flores St. They get in weekly shipments of at least one standard breed - usually ameraucana (easter egger), RIR, or barred rock -- and one fancy breed, usually polish or silkies. They also usually have some ducks and maybe a goose or two on hand.

    Silver polish. Male or female?

Can't wait to see the closeup whenever you get a chance to take one.

    Silver polish. Male or female?

Then there's a good chance you have a pullet. The "hairstyle" is not as good an indicator of gender as the wattles. By eight weeks, a cockerel usually will have noticeably red wattles.

    FINALLY, a Finished Product....Almost

That is excellent. My flock is small because we live in the city, but my wife and I hope to move out to the country in a few years. She grew up on a small farm and misses it a lot.

Well done! Looks like they'll be well protected and you have the space to set up a good-sized run. How many do you have?

Is this a roo or pullet?

    I agree-- cockerel

    Silver polish. Male or female?

At 8 weeks, you can almost always tell by the size and redness of the wattles. Can you provide a close up of the face?

I would like to buy Cream Brabanter hatching eggs or chicks

I'm looking for some too! I just got word that the feed store I usually go to had them a few weeks ago, and I missed out.

Ready to order a new batch of chicks

I agree. Ideal's guide is the most comprehensive listing of commercially-available chickens.

Polish in GA - NEW - need help with sex and specific breed

She's a pullet, and probably a white crested blue polish. There are white crest feathers, but they are overpowered by the darker feathering that extends from the neck upward. My blue polishes all had this darker coloration on the neck, but it wasn't as pronounced as your hen's.
