Post an ad Free to good home. Lots of people would like him to breed due to color. Someone local will take him off your hands. If you wanted you could try to sell him and if you can't find a buyer then post for free.

If anyone is expecting chicks at Homosassa PO they have some the phone number on the box is to the PO itself. They called me knowing I Was expecting birds myself. I did offer to bring food and electrolytes if they couldn't contact the owner.

I'm using a fine grit by nature wise but it's about the same as parakeet grit.
