Peacock won't roost with my chickens.

I have a young 3 month old peacock and he is best friends with my two young hens but when we let them out to free range he never goes back in with them and we have to get him off of trees at night. How do I get him to roost with the others?

    Chicken verse dogs

I have a dog that is also a hunting dog mutt. He will break the necks of the mourning doves when he gets the chance but he's learned to love the chickens. At first it was tough but what we do is we make the dog sit and hold the chicken in front of it face and, I know this sounds bad. When you...

    Chicken is sick!

She is pretty old I would say 6-7 years and has stopped laying for the past 6 months. We gave her a warm bath and she is still eating and drinking.

    Chicken is sick!

My hen has recently been sitting at the back of the coop and her tail feathers are low and she is not active. it just looks like a common sickness but those can be deadly! What can I do to help her?

    One egg with no shell.

Thats perfectly normal but not too common. It happens a lot with beginning layers along with double yolks. If the membrane is keeping the yolk in that means they are very healthy :)

    New sound at dusk.......

I would say the neighbors have something to do with it, if it worries you, ask them. I have a parrot and they are capable of making very strange sounds.

    2 Roosters - 1 has to go

Two roosters could go very bad. They could get along great but then gang up on you and the hens or they could hate each other and fight all day and become even more aggressive. I don't personally like the idea of meat birds only because I can't handle it but if you want them buffs are perfect...

Hello earnyms! Is your broody hen in an open place? raccoons or rats could be getting to them. And make sure if you have other chickens with her that they are getting enough food because if not, they could eat hers. It's happened to me :(
