I have a dominique rooster and he is very protective of the hens. He really doesnt like to be messed with either. He is kinda mean. Ive never had a barred rock.

I just had a Sumatra chick hatch about 4-5 hours ago. It cant walk very good because its toes are curled up. Is this natural or do I need to do something? Its peeping and moving around but just doesnt spread its feet out. It is walking around on its legs.

I have a dominique rooster and he is very aggressive. You do not want one of these. I am sure there are docile ones out there, but I have heard about other people having problems with them being aggressive.

Well the temperature is staying steady. I do not worry about the humidity as I have been dry incubating. I have a seperate incubator that I put them in for the last few days that has adjusted humidity. I may try one more small batch with the turner and if they dont hatch then I may just go back...
