My flock got to freerange on grass that is GREEN and growing after a hot dry summer of brown dead grass.. Thank you Isaac for busting the drought.

Used to work at a custum slaughter house and a few customers wanted them to hang as long as possible. 7 minimum, 14 days average, and if there is enough fat on the carcass they can go as long as three weeks.

I have OEG bantams hatched March 1, 2012 that are laying now. They are 17 weeks old. One of my hens, hatched February 20, 2012 laid 7 eggs, and is now broody.
