I will likely sell processed birds. We sell our processed rabbits right now so I'm sure turkeys won't be that much harder to do :) That hen was a freebie from a friend of mine. I suspected she was a cochin/cochin mix of some sort. She died a few months ago from being egg bound. I dont'...

Nothing significant, just a rag tag group of individuals. EEs, a silkie, cochins, Australorps, RIR, Plymouths, SF, Speckled Sussex and probably a few I am forgetting, and a lot of mutts from last years hatch. We had a good size group this year with my favorite broody and her "daughter" from...

Has anyone ever had a chicken eat glass? I was cleaning off the side of the goat stalls just now and I found a pile off poop with a bunch of broken glass in it. I'm not even sure where they found the glass. It looks like tempered auto glass which I know we haven't broken any. Haven't lost...

Haven't posted in a while but I thought I would update anyway :) TONS of fun stuff going on here. I found out I am intolerant of duck eggs. Traded my trio of Cayuga and my beige mutt duck for 3, seven month old hens (Silver wyandotte and 2 australorps), as well as 6 young pullets. One is a...
