Get ahold of local sportsman's clubs and bird dog enthusiasts clubs. Bird dogs are easily trained using quail. I've already had someone interested & I've had mine for only 2 weeks!

My 2 have grown up nicely! They are all speckled and lay almost every day. This was from one of the last snows we had here in Western PA.

I was out cleaning the coop and had my 2 D'Uccles and 4 BSL out in the yard. All hens. They were all milling around and scratching in the side yard when from the north came a very low copter. All of the hens came running to me, and looked to the sky with that sideways, right eyed stare! Spooked...

Good info. I know we tried to do a good job of insulating and ventilation. I have seen them roost on several different branches they have, just not at night. They are super cute all piled up top of each other!
