am planning on getting the feed this weekend...would it be ok to do the hog mix so it it has some vitamins and minerals added and then add the Diamond V once it arrives by just sprinkling it on top of the feed when put it in feeders? and should i do 5lb or 10lb if i add the hog mix?
my state rep got back to me and said to contact a company in MO(i'm in KS) for ordering small amount and that company should ship the stuff anywhere i want it. and i'll call the mill but i have no ma and pa type feed store only an Orschlens and if the mill is like the other i've called about...
Just called the co-op that I was looking at for the feed and they said they have a hog mix mineral thing that has lysine, selenium, vitamins A,D and E and something else I don't remember he said he could add 10 lb of this stuff to the mix to make it more balanced would it be better if the stuff...

i have thought of getting mix and the local mill only does 500lbs...in that 500lbs theres 2 50lb bags of 28% grower crumble, 50lb soy meal, and 175lb each of corn and milo and the place said this mix would be between 16.5 and 17% protein....i was thinking og haveing them do 3 bags of the grower...
youd only need sperate if you keep water inside you chicken coop...ducks make a mess with water and shouldnt have water in the coop for that reason just water out in the run. if you only have water outside in their run or your yard then housing them together is fine...mine share a coop a do...
there were no pieces of yellow tape in the box or in the hay in the box? i know you said that metzer says theres no way they sent you unsexed but i really makes me wonder as i wiuldnt think they'd eat it
i got some Toulouse from Metzers on wednesday and lost one due her getting super cold due to the post office and so Metzer is replacing her and is sending a free baby as a traveling companion for the replacement girl free of charge...so once those two are i'll have 11 Toulouse...6 girl, 3 boys...
