I had an EE hen, who was healthy to the maximum die a few days ago, however... She was molting... Is it common for a hen to die due to the stress of molting?
Is it normal for a hen to lose weight after she has lost her feathers for her one year molt? She was fine before the molt, but afterwards... She is looking scrawny...
First off, is it any more difficult than chicken eggs?
Second, if it is, what do I need to do to prepare myself for it? My girls should start laying this spring...
Third, should I have any specific incubator that anyone has had better results from?
