That hen looks nowhere close to being mature enough to lay. Are you sure it was her egg? Do you had any other hens that could have gotten into her enclosure and layed? Also do you have a picture of the egg- is it full sized?

My chickens were quite annoying today :D For some reason, ALL 6 of them needed to lay an egg at the same time, and, while we have multiple nestboxes, they all wanted in the same one. Silly chickens. They were quite loud and dramatic about it too =)
